The house

Seascape has been in the family for over 50 years and has several guests who return year-after-year. It accommodates six adults and four children comfortably and since an extension in 2018 has enhanced living space, terrace and garden to match.

There are five bedrooms. A master bedroom with basin which is generally made up as a super king but can be converted to two singles. There is a second double room with a basin. A third twin room can be made up as a super king on request. In addition, there are two bunk bedrooms, best used to accommodate children or teenagers, although adults have slept in these as well.

There are two well equipped bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath.

The living room comfortably seats 12 with three sofas, four arm chairs and a window seat. A sliding double door connects it to the kitchen/dining area. The latter has a table seating at least 10 is at one end with French windows leading onto a terrace and garden. At the other end is a newly installed and well-equipped kitchen with a 4-ring hob and oven and grill.

On the slate terrace there are two picnic tables for outside eating. This leads onto a good-sized lawn, ideal for games and sunbathing and this is surrounded with “Cornish hedges” for privacy. The lawn extends round to the front door where there is a morning suntrap. Parking is also at this side of the property accessed from the lane through a large gate. Two or three cars can be parked here with room for further cars outside on the grass beside the lane.

Seascape has a washer dryer, a dish washer, TV, telephone and broadband as well as a microwave. There is an open fire in the sitting room and wall mounted convector heaters in all living and bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped.
